Welcome and Introduction from the one-day Summer Institute titled Attracting, Retaining, and Advancing Law Students and Lawyers of Color in the Pittsburgh Region. The event, sponsored by the University of Pittsburgh School of Law and Center on Race and Social Problems (CRSP), explored the challenges of recruiting and maintaining diversity in the legal profession and was held from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. June 12 in the School of Social Work Conference Center in the Cathedral of Learning. Speakers include University of Pittsburgh School of Law Dean Mary Crossley and University of Pittsburgh School of Social Work Dean Larry Davis and Professor Donald M. Henderson.
